3. SPONSOR

   Sweepstakes Sponsor:  GLOCK, Inc., 6000 Highlands Parkway, Smyrna, Georgia 30082 (“Sponsor”).     



4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

   The 2 Million Social Media Follower Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins November 1, 2019 at 12:00AM (Eastern Daylight Time) and ends no later than December 11, 2019 at 11:59PM (Eastern Daylight Time) (the “Program Period”). 



5. ELIGIBILITY

   The Program is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who at time of participation are 21 years of age or older and are not prohibited by law from possessing or operating a firearm. Employees of Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, and other affiliated companies, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) and those with whom they are domiciled, are NOT eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes and are NOT eligible to win the Sweepstakes prize.



6. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

   Individuals become a participant (“Participant”) in the Sweepstakes by interacting on GLOCK social media platform (Instagram). By partaking in the Sweepstakes, Participants agree to abide by the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes.

7. SWEEPSTAKES

7.1 ENTRY - Participants will earn one (1) entry in to the Sweepstakes when (s)he follows the GLOCK Instagram account, posts comments identifying his/her two (2) favorite GLOCK pistols, and tags two (2) friends with Instagram accounts to follow the GLOCK Instagram page.

7.2 PRIZES - The following prizes will be awarded to one (1) winner on Instagram: One (1) GLOCK 43X and one (1) GLOCK Tactical Knife (engraved).

7.3 PRIZE DRAWING - Sweepstakes winner will be selected by random drawing conducted between November 20, 2019 and December 11, 2019. Winner will be notified via email and will be responsible for pistol pick up from FFL. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: One (1) Instagram Prize The Grand Prize (1) consists of: GLOCK 43X (1 for Instagram Winner) and an engraved GLOCK Tactical Knife (1 for Instagram Winner).

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS

This Program is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.  By participating, entrants release Sponsor and its respective affiliates, shareholders, officers, printers, distributors, advertising agencies and reward suppliers, and the employees, agents, and consultants of any of the above entities, from any and all liability for any injury, death, loss, tax liability or damage of any kind arising from entrant’s participation in this Program or in any Program-related activity, or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Sweepstakes prize.  Without limiting the foregoing, all prizes are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.  Acceptance of reward shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use his/her name, address (city and state only), prize information, and/or likeness for promotional purposes in any media now existing or hereinafter devised without additional compensation, where legal. (Tennessee residents need not consent to, or sign any, publicity release.)

Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) disqualify from this or any program it sponsors, now or in the future, any person it finds, in its sole discretion, has intentionally violated these Official Rules, tampered with the entry process, the operation of this Sweepstakes or the program Website, or any other aspect of this Sweepstakes; (ii) modify, suspend or terminate this Sweepstakes in the event it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired; and (iii) cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Program.    

Except where prohibited, by participating, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any reward awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively under the laws of the State of Georgia, USA and by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia or the appropriate Georgia State Court located in Cobb County, Georgia; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive damages, incidental damages, consequential damages or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROGRAM MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING SEEKING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
