GLOCK Promotes Safe Storage and Responsible Firearm Ownership
Over 48,000 Safety Pledges Made
SMYRNA, GA. – July 06, 2026 – GLOCK announces over 48,000 total pledges made as National Safety Month concludes. National Safety Month launches GLOCK’s year-long safety campaign, which has been running for more than a decade.
Throughout the year, the company works alongside law-enforcement partners, firearm owners, and community organizations to provide firearm safety education and accessible resources focused on secure storage, proper use, and adherence to the Four Rules of Firearm Safety.
Firearm owners are encouraged to regularly reassess their safety practices. Reviewing storage plans, refreshing familiarity with the Four Rules of Firearm Safety, and staying informed about applicable laws are part of responsible ownership.
During the month of June, the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) continued to promote secure firearm storage through its Gun Storage Check Week initiative. Partner organizations like NSSF, Shoot Like a Girl, National Law Enforcement Museum, A Girl and A Gun, and Women’s Outdoor News shared the GLOCK Safety message throughout the month alongside GLOCK dealers across the country. Team GLOCK ambassadors also shared responsible ownership and safety resources across social media and at GLOCKIQ.com, encouraging followers to take the GLOCK Safety Pledge. GLOCK Professional reinforces safety messaging year-round throughout GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation matches and GLOCK Training courses, where safety remains the highest priority.
The GLOCK Safety Pledge, educational resources, and shareable safety materials are available year-round at GLOCKSafety.com.
