Team GLOCK Dominates USPSA Area 8 Shooting Competition

Smyrna, GA — August 15, 2013 —

Captain Eusebio and member Viscusi capture Overall, Open and Production divisions

Today GLOCK, Inc. announced that Team GLOCK captain KC Eusebio captured the Overall and Open divisions of the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area 8 match, held at Pitcairn-Monroesville Sportsmen’s Club, in North Versailles, Pa., Aug. 8-11,2013. Team member Michelle Viscusi earned High Lady in the Production division.

In the Open division, Eusebio set the standard in five of the ten stages that made up the 294-round count match. Using his GLOCK 34 customized by ZEV Technologies, Eusebio jumped to an early lead in the match and kept the pressure on his competitors to win the Mid-Atlantic Area Championship.

“It has been a busy summer with travels and competitions all over the world,” commented Eusebio.  “The Area 8 match always brings out the strongest competitors looking to get a little more match experience before the National Championships. The pistol ran extremely well, and the new optics system was incredibly reliable in finding my shots. Much of the match’s success was driven by a great set of volunteers who act as range officers for the event.”

Viscusi competed with her Production legal GLOCK 34 to garner the Lady’s title in Production. The first year, B-class shooter stated, “I am still in a learning mode in the competitive shooting sports. Like everyone else that starts up in this game, speed and accuracy are a trade-off until you have practiced your way to the top.”

Eusebio and Viscusi will be joined by teammate Tori Nonaka in Gainesville, Ga., at the end of the month for the USPSA Georgia State Championship, held Aug. 30-31, 2013. Shooting with Eusebio will be GLOCK’s special guest Matt Martini, the actor/competitor in GLOCK, Inc.’s video entitled Shooter Ready.
